  1. I Support Jerusalem Post’s
    Call For Pollard’s Release

    Wednesday, March 27th, 2013

Your truly excellent editorial (“The buck stops here”, Mar.21) in support of Israel`s favorite cause ”“ calling for the release of Jonathon Pollard, was certainly well timed. Our hapless spy has now been in solitary confinement for nearly 10,000 days.

  2. Israel needs a Salvation Day
    to oppose Nakba Day

    Tuesday, July 12th, 2011

“Unfortunately Nakba Day spurs the always present anti-Semitism in much of the non-Jewish world. It generates ardent sympathy for the Palestinian cause. For days before and for days after, the world media is immersed in the Palestinian narrative. From a PR point of view Nakba Day gives Israel a bloody running nose and two black eyes – year after year.”

  3. How Israel Can Win the PR War

    Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

Its very hard to dislodge those notions ”” to convince them, for instance, that Israel did not wantonly target civilians in last years war in Gaza, or has not created a humanitarian crisis there by its blockade. But it is possible to persuade them that no matter how bad Israel is, its enemies are much, much worse ”” and therefore even someone who dislikes Israel should nevertheless back it against those enemies.

  4. Public relations battle is a marathon,

    Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

Israel learned lessons from previous crises and improved accordingly. No one can argue the system worked perfectly, but we will endeavor to learn even more lessons from this crisis to further improve for the future. HOWEVER, NO ONE should be fooled into thinking that this is an easy battle. Just as when an army is involved in asymmetric warfare, in asymmetric public relations, there are structural disadvantages for any fully functioning democratic government.

  5. Public relations battle is a marathon,
    not a sprint

    Friday, July 16th, 2010

Israels public diplomacy has become the new battlefield and if one gauges the results, it is clear that there are many positives. There is not one credible member of the international media that still parrots the stated motives of the organizers of the flotilla. Every major international network reported the flotilla story using IDF Spokesmans videos within hours of the events. More and more correspondents, many who were previously very critical of Israeli policy, have placed the blame squarely on the shoulders of the flotilla organizers. These are very real successes.

  6. Israeli propaganda is both intelligent and necessary

    Sunday, March 7th, 2010

By David Admon Just as the some make conversation about the weather, here in Israel people talk about ‘hasbara’, efforts to explain and justify Israel’s policies to the rest of the world. Operation Cast Lead, the Goldstone report, the delegation to Haiti and International Holocaust Remembrance Day have all been jumbled into the debate over […]

  7. How Israel Can Win The PR War With Professionals and Money

    Thursday, March 4th, 2010

I do not blame Israel’s woeful performance on the handful of TV people working in the F.O.’s Information Department. They surely do their best – but the task is beyond them. It’s like trying to mow a football field with a 12 inch hand mower when a battery of high speed power machines are needed. […]

  8. An Israeli Stalinist Professor`s War Against Israel

    Monday, January 11th, 2010

“Islamist fascism has a problem. It is that traditional Islam, and the Koran in particular, explicitly acknowledge that the Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people. The war of Islamofascism against Israel and its population thus directly contradicts the teachings about Jews and Israel found in the Koran itself. The Islamofascists, however, have found a solution to this dilemma. And they are being provided with this “solution” by a notorious Jewish anti-Semite.”

  9. Nothing to fear but fear itself

    Saturday, May 3rd, 2008

“I have become increasingly annoyed recently with Post writers who keep writing about Israels ”˜fears when ”˜concern, ”˜suspect, ”˜worry, or ”˜believe etc, would be more to the point.”

  10. Israel Hurt by Knesset`s Diplomatic PR Failure

    Saturday, April 28th, 2007

“Since this is the norm one must wonder why invitations are extended to overseas delegations to visit the Knesset at all, since the majority of members are never (repeat never) there to welcome them? Why do we mindlessly continue a tradition that has the opposite effect to that intended?”

  11. The Jewish Agency`s Campaign Ad
    On Anti-Semitism
    Is A Waste Of Money

    Friday, February 16th, 2007

” . . . the ad is only likely to achieve low readership and is unlikely to do much harm. However, further publication will be a complete waste of hard won donors` contributions. Indeed I doubt whether any paid media advertising will succeed in engaging the support of non-Jews in the fight against anti-Semitism.”

  12. Ben Wedeman`s Biased
    CNN Documentaries

    Sunday, September 10th, 2006

“No. For both Wedeman and the Palestinians share the same view. That the latter have the right to carry out terrorism against the Israelis. That`s only to be expected and human. “

But Israelis, naturally, have no right to prevent, deter or respond. That, CNN viewers are taught, is inhuman.

Hey, be sure to email me if you ever come across a pro-Israel CNN documentary from Wedeman, will you? I wouldn`t want to miss it.
